The more I used the Fujifilm GFX100RF premium compact camera, the more it impressed me. Its class-leading 102MP medium-format sensor and super-sharp f/4 prime lens unleash useful features such as a digital crop and the addictive aspect ratio control – this is a more versatile camera than its fixed 28mm lens would suggest. Squeezing this tech into such a compact and lightweight rangefinder-style body similar to the X100VI is quite frankly staggering, but there's one major drawback that will be a limitation for some users – the unstabilized lens with modest f/4 maximum aperture. Still, with a gorgeous top plate machined from a single block of aluminum, manual exposure dials, and incredible battery life, the GFX100RF is a delightful if pricey package. Compact camera quality just hit new heights.
